I find amusement in the idea
That I’ve forgotten unforgettable words
Undeniable; they have defiantly gone
Far down south with the fortunate birds
Ages ago, in the condolences of reality
Before I held the world in my hand
The wilting flora of my mind
Grew in the dirt of a sour land
Deflating quietly from lack of air
Laying back, darkening, without much light
Withering, losing a battle with the villain
Happily I withdrew from the futile fight
How many days? You know I used to count
Grasping the cloud above my bed
My teeth were jail bars, unsurpassable
So those words remained within my head
The truth remains that I could remember
But I worked so hard to leave them behind
I shall not resurrect what’s best left for dead
They will remain far back in my mind
So what do I say without those words?
My mouth is open, but empty it will stay
I’m vigilant, once again on my feet
Stable this hour, with a new ending each day

Blah Blah Blah? No Miss, that poem was actually really powerful and I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY liked it..and for me to REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY like a poem is REALLY, REALLY...rare...yeah you get that idea. My most definte favourite line from that was,

My teeth were jail bars, unsurpassable
So those words remained within my head

I really love how you put that, I applaud to your amazing talent at writing. Truely, I love that line, and you'll see shortly just how much.

I have seen the link to this poem in :icongalabrotix: 's signature, but this is the first time I have clicked on it. I must say, I am just as impressed as he was with this amazing poem. A definite favorite!
